Biography
Laurent was born 3 September 1769 son of Joseph Fortier and Marie Josèphe Choret. He was baptized the next day at Sainte-Geneviève-de-Pierrefonds.[1]
Laurent was married 28 February 1791 to Radégonde St-Germain at Saint-Laurent.[2] The record, possibly a transcript mistakenly indicates the husband was Joseph, which appears to be confusion with the name of his deceased father.
His name on the burial record shows Laurent Justinien Fortier, died 27 October 1831 and buried two days later at Sainte-Geneviève.[3]
