Biography
Jean was born on 9 March 1837, and was baptized the same day in Saint-Charles. He was the son of Charles Fortier and Luce McKenter.[1] He married Arthémise Chouinard on 8 June 1869 in Saint-Anaclet-de-Lessard.[2]
