John was born in 1826. He is the son of Forrester-171 James Forrester and Dickson-424 Mary Dickson . He passed away in 1918.

- page 27, Jennie Ball Stearman 1968 history states: "John Forrester, born in 1825, married Ann, who died January 25, 1889 at the age of 64 years. Later, he married Aunt Alice. They had three adopted daughters---Emma Robertson and Janey Peel, of Port Perry, were two of hie daughters. John died December 10, 1918--age 93 years!"
