Biography
Thomas William Forgan was born on 22 October 1749 in Cameron, Fife, Scotland as the son of Andrew Forgan (FamilySearch Profile) and Catherine Webster (FamilySearch Profile). He was baptized on 23 November 1794.
Thomas married Elisabeth Nicolson (born on 15 July 1750 in Kilconquhar, Fife, Scotland).

according to https://www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk/ there are two Thomas FORGANs born around the right time and place for this individual.
Do you have any evidence for choosing the Cameron birth/baptism over the Kilconquhar birth/baptism? I would have thought (given no other evidence), that the Kilconquhar origin makes more sense (given the births of his children stated above are all in that village.
I have not found any marriage to help out here. I've also found no source for his middle name.
