I've informally been on a bit of a crusade correcting issues all over the place based on my own research of my own bloodline and trying to remove discrepencies and add helpful information. I got flagged for spam but the Anjou line for Fordyce is pretty fake. We can't verify any of his findings after Samuel Fordyce 1735-1824, which is really frustrating because I am trying to find the Scottish link beyond from my surname to Clan Forbes. Im actually writing a paper about it. I hit a bit of a wall until I found a few cracks after doing a DNA test so im back in it looking hard for some answers.

I will contribute what I can. I have a ton of my own research.

Biography

Born in Cleveland, Ohio in May of 1980, Joshua Fordyce lived in Lorain, Ohio until he was 18 years old. He attended Emerson Elementary school for Kindergarten and 1st grade, and the North Coast Christian Academy from 2nd to 9th grade and 11th -12th to which he graduated in 1998. He spent 10th-11th grade at Open Door Christian Academy. His father worked at Ford Motor Company, his mother was a teacher at NCCA and Avon Schools. She was his teacher in 3rd grade and his English teacher in High School. Joshua joined the United States Navy on June 4th 1998 as a Cryptologic Technician Technical (CTT2).

He served at the following commands: NSGA Pearl Harbor USS Olympia NSGA Kunia NIOC Denver USS Stephen W Groves

He retired medically after 9 years and 10 months in April of 2007.

Congratulations on certifying to work on pre-1700 profiles!

It’s very important to read and understand the Help:Pre-1700 Profiles page. These profiles for deep ancestors are shared by many, and collaborating on them works best if we all follow the guidelines laid out on that page.

Primary sources should always be added to pre-1700 profiles at the time they are created. If you don't have a source for a pre-1700 profile, it would be best to ask for help in the G2G forum before creating the profile.

Note though, that you won't be able to edit the pre-1700 and pre-1500 profiles until you complete the necessary tasks to obtain those certifications.
