William Anderson Forbes was born at Boharm, Banffshire, Scotland, in 1839, and baptised there on the 15th of September, the son of Lewis William Forbes and Elizabeth Mary Young. [1]

William Anderson Forbes Alick the Poet, never married, and passed away at Warwick, Colony of Queensland, on the 31st of October 1879.[2][3]
