Biography
Born in 1943 when my mother wasn't married, she had joined the WAAF in 1941 and was discharged when she became pregnant. She left me with my grandparents and then rejoined the WAAF. I was raised by my grandparents Herbert & Mary Elizabeth Fletcher. Joined the RAF in October 1959 as a Boy Entrant. Demobbed in 1973 and joined GCHQ as a Radio Officer. Married Maureen in 1975. Retired in 2003 and we moved to Stronsay, Orkney.
