Fitel 'Frank' was born in 1850. His parents are unknown. Fitel Fleisher ^[1] Fitel married Chaia Zelda 'Jenny' (COPNIK) about 1867. They were the parents of six children (all born in Russia or Ukraine). This death and burial information are uncertain or unknown.

Research Notes

Another Frank Fleisher appears in Ottawa at this time with a birth date of 1850 who is the father of George Fleisher. Is this really the same person?

The reference to the surname 'Fleisher' is an article in the 28 Aug 1987 "The Gazette (Montreal, Quebec, Canada)" newspaper describing the unveiling of a monument in memory of Frank Fleisher.
