Lord John Arbuthnot "Jackie" Fisher was a British admiral of the Fleet known for his efforts at naval reform.

Biography

John Arbuthnot Fisher was born on to Sophia (Lambe) Fisher and Captain William Fisher.

He married Frances Katharine Josepha Broughton on 4 April 1866 while stationed at Portsmouth.

He died at the age of 79, on July 10, 1920.[1] He is buried in St. Andrew Churchyard in Kilverstone, Breckland Borough, Norfolk, England.[2] His will was probated on October 7, 1920.[3]
