**** NLH Note: Known to have died prior to 1881 Census. No Jane Hirst death found in Huddersfield. Death probably close to the birth of her daughter Jane (born in Rastrick) so death recorded in Halifax is possible but nothing found in suitable time frame. At that time, Bradford had the main hospital in the area. Possible she was sent there for treatment and died in hospital. Patients who died there tended to be buried in Scholemoor Cemetery, Bradford. One suitable match found.
