Biography
Joshua, born in 1848 in Barton Township, Canada West (Ontario), was the son of James and Nancy (Kern) Filman. He married Emma M. Sovereign in 1873 in Nelson Township, Ontario. At the time of their marriage, he was a farmer in East Flamborough Township, Ontario.[1]
His second marriage was to Tamar Alice (nee Sinclair) Cartwright in 1896.[2][3]
He died in 1915.[4]
