Biography

Pedro Julio Figueroa del Rivero was born in Puerto Rico.

Pedro Julio Figueroa del Rivero was a clarinetist and saxophonist for the U.S. Navy Band. He was the father of the actress and dancer Chita Rivera.

Pedro Julio was born in 1899. Pedro Julio Figueroa del Rivero was the son of Modesto Figueroa Maldonado and Aurora del Rivero.^[1][2][3]

Pedro Julio Figueroa married Katherine Anderson December 23, 1922, in the District of Columbia, USA.^[4]

He passed away 5 February 1940 in Washington, D.C.^[5] His remains were buried at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Washington, D. C.^[6]

Remains resting at Frazier's funeral home, 389 Rhode Island Ave., N.W., until 4:30 p.m. Thursday, February 8. [....] Interment Mount Olivet Cemetery.
