Biography
Alexander Ferguson was born in Ireland.
Alexander was born around 1841-1842 in County Tyrone, [1] the son of Richard Ferguson, farmer, and lived at Rouskyroe as of 1875.
On 11 May 1875 at Donaghenry Parish Church, Stewartstown, he married Catherine Henry of Innevall, daughter of William Henry, farmer. Witnessed by John Ferguson and Robert Newell. [2]
They lived in America for a short time after marrying; daughter Myra was born there (and possibly Annie as well). however Alexander (1879) was born at Tullagh Beg, Donaghenry, County Tyrone; and that was also Annie's residence as of 1896.
By 1901 the family had moved to Brigh, Ballyclog.
He passed away 18 March 1917 at Brigh, married, age 76 due to cirrhosis of liver. Informed by J. Ferguson, son. [3]

No corroboration yet though that these are correct as opposed to a coincidence -- there were a lot of Irish Fergusons in America.
