Catherine was born about 1876. [1]
On 26 April 1909 at Kilmarnock in Scotland, she married Henry Charles Goffin, a Captain in the Salvation Army. [2] They emigrated to Wellington, New Zealand; arriving 20 January 1913 in Wellington aboard the Corinthic. With Henry (27) and Catherine (34) were children Harry (2) and Norman (1). [3]
She passed away in 1951 in New Zealand. [4]

No marriage record found in ScotlandsPeople matching the detail in the Te Ara biography. (Perhaps it was a marriage by declaration rather than civil registration?)
Her maiden name Ferguson can be seen on the birth registration of the children Henry and Norman in ScotlandsPeople. These are in fact the only two births for surname Goffin in ScotlandsPeople at all, for the time period.
