Ruth was born before 1919. She was the daughter of Henry Fenner and Ida Meyer. She passed away in 1999.

Ruth Jensen from Orting, WA, died Sunday, January 24, 1999 in Yuma, Ar She was born in Fairmont, MN, on February 21, 1919. Her parents were Henry and Ida Fenner. Ruth and her husband Donald have lived in the Puyallup area since 1963. Before that they farmed in East Chain, MN, where Ruth owned and operated "Ruth's Ceramics" for 20 years. Ruth will be remembered by her friends at the Totem Yacht Club, the Peace Lutheran Church, and many other organizations in which she was active during her lifetime. She was employed as Coordinator of the Milton Senior Center for 10years. Before that she worked at J.C. Penney Co., Gov Mart and Allen Jewelry. Fishing was one of her favorite pastimes. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Nancy Barrett, of Armstrong, Iowa. Family members include her husband, Donald Jensen, Orting, WA; children and their spouses, Richard and Beth Jensen of Sumner, WA, and Gary and Valerie Jensen of Seattle, WA; her brother, Lou Fenner and his wife Dru of Puyallup, WA. She is survived by 7 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Friends are invited to attend services held on Saturday, January 30, 1999 at 2:00 p.m. at the Fir Lane Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 924 176th St. E., Spanaway, WA. Pub Date: 1/28/1999
