My mother always told me & my siblings that Thomas Angell came to America on The Mayflower and was a endentured servant of Roger Williams who founded R. I.. Well pretty much at the begining of my research, I found out that Thomas did not come to America on the Mayflower. The passenger list did not show Thomas on it, but Roger Williams was listed on the ship named of LYON that sailed to Bristol, Mass. in 1636. There are suggestive remarks in The Desendants of Thomas Angell. Later Roger Williams made Thomas a freeman that was a servant that would pay for his passage, food and what supplies he may of needed and once his debt is paid would be a freeman. Thomas went with Roger & a few other people when Roger left for what would become Rhode Island.

Biography
Hello everyone. I am Judith Ann (Fenner) Cote presently living in Lady Lake, Florida. I was born in Providence, Rhode Island and my husband & I moved here in November 2010. I got interested in Family research after my parent's passed away. My Father passed in 1996 & my Mother passed in 1997, nine months after my Father. MY paternal line starts in the early 1600's Rhode Island. My maternal line starts about the same time but in Massachusetts. I was able to get pictures of some headstones. There was a lot of information on both of my parents families since my ancestors were important in the history of Rhode Island. The main surname's are Fenner - Angell - Eldridge - Studley - Cote (Canada) - Riendeau (Canada) - Barton (Virginia) - & Coxon (Virginia). I wanted to do a Family tree basically for my grand-daughter & grand-son.
