Christina Feldmann was born on 5 October 1841 in Heiminghausen, Berghausen, Kreis Meschede, Provinz Westfalen, Freistaat Preußen (Westphalia, Prussia). She was the daughter of Johann Wihelm Josef Feldman (1801 - 1852) and his wife Franziska Elisabeth Reitz (1810 - 1864).
