Biography
Louis was born on 30 August 1890 in Russia. Note: 1930 Census says Russia & gives year of immigration, states naturalized. Directory of Medical Specialists lists Brooklyn NY as birthplace--in error.[1][2]
Naturalization as a Citizen: 1896 in SDATE 1 JUL 1896.[3]
Misc: 1917 in SDATE 1 JUL 1917. stated a physical disability draft registration[4]
When Louis was about 27 he married Olga Kasen in about 1918 in NY. The couple had one child: Roy J. Feldman.[4]
In 1920 Louis (age about 29) was living in Brooklyn (Kings), NY.[3]
In 1930 Louis (age about 39) was employed as a an ophthamologist. Note: Had been affiliated with Indian Service in White Earth, MN, Brooklyn (NY) Hebrew Home & Hospital for the Aged, Sea View Hospital (Staten Island NY), Brooklyn Hebrew Orphan Asylum.[5]
In 1930 Louis (age about 39) was living in Brooklyn (Kings), NY.[6]
Louis died at the age of 57 on 2 February 1948 in Palm Beach (Palm Beach), FL. Cause of death was cerebral hemorrhage.[7]

His name was shown as Abraham L. on the ship manifest from a family trip on the SS Statendam, 1937.
