Biography

Blanche was born in 1897 to Henry FELDMAN and his wife, Minnie BECKMAN. She was delivered by Mrs. Mary BECKMAN, midwife, ^[1] who was probably a relation.

First, she married Samuel MCALLISTER. Together they were the parents of:

1. Cheryl MCALLISTER ^[2]

They made their home in Augusta, where they can be found in the 1925 Iowa Census. ^[3]

In 1930, she can be found living with her parents and nine-year-old son as a divorcee. ^[4]

In 1934, she married John W. PLATTE. This marriage ended in divorce in 1937, but not before producing a daughter:

1. Jean Mary PLATTE ^[5]

In 1940, she and her five-year-old daughter can be found living with her parents in Flint River Township. ^[6]

She passed away in 1983. ^[7]
