Biography

Etta was born in 1899 in Indianapolis, Marion, Indiana, United States.^[1] She was the daughter of Cyrus Jay Fee and Emma May Douglass. Shortly after her birth, her family emigrated to Canada. In the 1901 census Henrietta (age 2) was the daughter of Farmer Cyrus J Fee in Aylesworth, Algoma, Ontario, Canada. She had an older sister Lillian.^[2]

They then returned to the United States. In the 1905 census Etta was in International Falls, Koochiching township, Itasca, Minnesota.^[3] In the 1910 census Etta (age 11) was the daughter of Cyrus J Fee in Beaver, Koochiching, Minnesota, United States.^[4] Her family returned to Canada in 1913, Etta in 1914. In the 1916 census Etta (age 17) was the single daughter of Cyrus Fee in Battleford, Battle River No. 438, Saskatchewan, Canada.^[5]

About 1918, Jan 18 Etta married George Lancelot Clarke.^[6]

In the 1921 census Etta (age 22) was living with her husband Farmer George Clarke with step son Wilfred Bowles (age 9), and sons Arnold Clarke (age 1) and George Clarke (3 mos.) in Blaine Lake, Saskatchewan, Canada.^[7] In the 1926 census Etta (age 26) was the wife of George Lancelot Clarke in Prince Albert No. 461, Saskatchewan, Canada. Etta's son Wilfred Fee was also living with them.^[8]

She passed away in 1966 in Buffalo Narrows, Saskatchewan, Canada. ^[9]
