Biography
Joseph William Faull, the son of Roy Faull and Kathleen Phillips, was born on 30 December 1926 at Parkes, New South Wales, Australia. Official record not found, date of birth from army records.
In February 1945, he enlisted in the Australian Army as part of the Second Imperial Force. [1]
Tragically, Joseph William Faull was killed on 21 May 1945 in a workplace accident during his army training at Kapooka, near Wagga Wagga, New South Wales.[2]In total, twenty six young men lost their lives as a result of this accident.[3]
He was buried at Wagga Wagga War Cemetery, Wagga Wagga, Wagga Wagga City, New South Wales.[4]
