Biography

Albert Clarence Farquhar was born in Bairnsdale on 4th July 1887.^[1] He was the son of Alexander Griffiths Farquhar and Elizabeth Jane Guy.^[2]

On 15th February 1921, at St Joseph's Church, Elsternwick, he married Eileen Mary Hollowood.^[3][4]

Albert passed away in Bairnsdale in 1958, aged 72.^[2]

No birth registration has been found in Victoria. It is possible that the birth was not registered as the parents were not married until the following year.

Albert Clarence Farquhar was born on 4 July 1887 in Bairnsdale, Victoria, Australia, the son of Elizabeth June (Guy) Farquhar and Alexander Farquhar.^{[citation needed]}

He married Eileen Mary Hollowood in 1921 in Victoria.^[5] Their children were:

• Maurice Joseph Farquhar (1921–2008)^[6]
• Patrick James Farquhar (1923–1991)^[7]
• Kevin Alfred Farquhar (1928–1943)^[8]

Albert died in July 1958 in Bairnsdale, aged 72 years.^[9]
He was buried at the Bairnsdale Cemetery on 15 July 1958.^[10]
