Biography

Nancy Catherine Fann was born in Sampson, North Carolina, the daughter of John Fann and Bythenia Kelley.[1][2]

Regarding at least one of her marriages: . . .Dempsey [H Jackson] is buried at Mt Elam Baptist Church where there is a marker for his first wife, Nancy Catherine Fann, born 6 May 1830 and died 9 Feb 1888, daughter of John Fann and Bethania Kelly, although she was buried elsewhere.[1]
