Private Fammer or Farmer . Enlisted in the Union Army in the state of Illinois. He Musteredi into Company A , 21st. regiment of the Illinois Infantry. He was captured on September 20, 1863, Chickamauga, Georgia, and sent to Andersonville Prison as a POW where he died of diarrhea on June 20 1864 . He is buried in the Andersonville National Cemetery .
