Thomas was born in 1829. Thomas enlisted in Company C of the 103rd OVI on 13 Aug 1862 as a Private. He is shown as "deserted," 6 Apr 1863 and then returned. Transferred to Company H, 183rd Regiment, OVI on 12 Jun 1865. He mustered out with the company on 17 Jul 1865. The 1880 U.S. Census has him living alone in Avon, Ohio and working as a Laborer. He passed away in 1889.
