Historical African American, Mt. Pleasant Baptist is located on New Mountain Rd. in Aldie, VA. The church has a large number of unmarked graves; there are several marked as well. There still burials taking place here and burials at the new Mt. Pleasant Church site located on Old Carolina Rd. less than 3 miles away.
There appears to be no reason why her last name at birth is given as Fairfax Mason rather than just Mason.
