- Second, if not third hand, unconfirmed information is that Edward is the "Son born new Wooler and bap. by Rev George LAWSON dissenting minister at Selkirk.". The family bible, whereabouts unknown by me ( Lorna, no relation, just looking for a yDNA canadiate to represent this family in the FamilyTreeDNA Fairbairn Surname project), apparently agrees with date 13 Nov 1823.
