His Death Notice reads:
"FAIRBAIRN, September 15, 1928 at his residence, 0 Derby-street, Marrickville, Reginald Theordore Fairbairn, dearly beloved husband of Sarah Fairbairn and loving father of Reginald and Arthur, aged 39 years" He was buried at Rookwood (Anglican Section 9, Grave 2028-2029)
