Katherine Isabel Ewen (married name Sargood) was born about 1879 in Middlesex, England, the daughter of Mary Emma Charlett (Rossie) Ewen and John Alexander Ewen.^{[citation needed]}

She was married to William Ernest Sargood.^{[citation needed]} Their son was:

• Andrew David Sargood (1924?–1975)^[1]

Katherine died in 1970 in Hawthorn, Victoria, Australia, aged 91 years.^[2]
