Birth and Family

Ora was born about 1903. Her parents are Pleasant Wade Evans and Southoudora Ann Swift.

In 1910, Ora J., age 9, lived with her parents and four siblings lived in Magisterial District 5, Butler, Kentucky, United States. She is the second born child.Their father, Pleasant worked as a blacksmith and owned his own business. Ora attended school for the year starting Sept. 1, 1909.^[1]

Marriage and Family

On 29 May 1919, Ora J. Evans married Ollie Legrand in Brooklyn, Butler, Kentucky, United States. ^[2]

Death and Burial

She is buried in Isiah Evans Cemetery, Morgantown, Butler County, Kentucky, USA^[3]
