"Thomas StackhouseA, the son of John and perhaps his second wife, Ellen (__), was baptized 1 May 1601 in St. Alkelda's in Giggleswick. He died and was buried in October 1686. Thomas married Anna (__). She was buried July 1690 in Giggleswick.[5]."

Re: Bio: "Thomas Stackhouse 1st m. Ellen ____" Note that : In 1653 a Thomas Stackhouse & a Ellen Cowgill were husband & wife and are mentioned in an indictment at Wakefield. Also mentioned are their sons Thomas and Robert. This is a source not mentioned in the Cowgill family history e-site (see source 2). An image copy of this document has been sent to Debi Hoag for completed translation.
Unknown-237188 and Evans-1817 appear to represent the same person because: Anna Evans was his only spouse living till 1690. Thus this is just another Anna Evans to be merged.
