Kirsti Eriksdatter Aarset was baptized on 2 Feb 1760 in Hjørundfjord, the daughter of Erik Jonsen and Guri Jakobsdatter.^[1]

Kirsti married widower Iver Pedersen Nørve on 25 Jan 1795 in Borgund.^[2][3] Her name was recorded as Kirsti Eriksd. Hatlen. Iver died soon after their marriage.

Kirsti married for a second time to Peter Hansen Wettergren on 3 Mar 1796 in Borgund.^[4] One of the witnesses was Rasmus Williksen Steenvog, Kirsti's brother-in-law. Their children were:

1. Iver Christian Julius Petersen (born 1796)
2. Knud Broderus Petersen (born 1797)
3. Anne Gurina Maria Pettersdatter (born 1800)

In the 1801 census, Kirsten Eriksdatter (age 44) lived at Hool Yttre in Borgund.^[5] Kirsti was noted as being in her second marriage.

Kirsti died on 3 Apr 1830 in Hjørundfjord.^[6] She was a resident of Viddal, and she was noted as being a tailor's widow. The age given on her burial record was 71 years.
