Biography

At the taxation 1695 Erich Ersson was a married hammersmith at Virsbo (Hwerfsbo) in Ramnäs. He had a son Erich of taxable age. This profile is for the son.[1] At the taxation 1697 father Erich Ersson was a hammersmith at Virsbo in Ramnäs. He had a wife and sons Erich and Hindrich.[2]

According to the household record, Eric Ersson's father came from Ramnäs to Bockhammar in 1698 with his wife Kerstin Hindrichsdotter and sons Hindrich and Daniel.[3] The Erich in this profile must have arrived separately.

Anna Andersdotter in Bjurfors married the young smith Eric Ersson at Bockhammar 8 June 1702.[4] Eric may have been in his father's household up to the marriage.

Eric and Anna moved to Prästhammar about 1704.[5]

In 1714 Eric and his family moved from Gunnilbo Hammar to Nyhammar in Hed.[6]

In 1715 they lived at Nyhammar in Hed with children Anders, Margreta, Anna and Erich.[7]

In 1717 there were two smiths in Nyhammar named Eric Ersson. (The other one was his father.)[8]

In 1734 Eric Ersson and his wife moved to Gunnilbo.[9]

They lived in Bjurforsen.[10] By then no children lived with them.

The old smith Eric Ersson in Bjurfors was buried 23 March 1740, 65 years old.[11]
