Jim,

Aganetha Epp (1833-1884) would be the second wife of my great-great grandfather, Heinrich Gottlieb Boese (1819-1896), I am descended from his first wife, Sara Kiethler (1823-1853). I have not researched Aganetha's extended family extensively. I have a brother for Aganetha, Johann (1836-1919), but that is about it. The Boese family is huge and they weren't very creative about naming their many children.

I was interested in your surname. Slaughter was one of the spelling varients of Slitor/Sluyter used before 1800 in upstate New York. However, my Slitors trace their ancestors back to Holland. I noticed from your tree that you traced your Slaughter ancestors to England via Virginia.

Thank you for your comment.

I wonder if she could be a sibling of my Grandfather, Gerhardt H. Epp (epp 435) from Blumenstein.
