Rachel Engle was born on 26th 4th mo. 1746 (Old Style). She is the daughter of Robert Engle and Rachel Venicomb. ^[1][2]

Rachel married Abram Borton, son of John Borton and Elizabeth Lord.^[3]

In the minutes of the Evesham Monthly Meeting held on 7th of the 7th mo, 1768 (New Style) it was reported that the marriage of Abraham Borton and Rachel Engle was reported to have been completed in an orderly manner.^[4]

Rachel and Abram had the following children:

3. Robert Borton b 29 March 1773 d 26 November 1781^[5]
