He was born in the town of Springfield on February 11, 1895 where he had farmed for many years. Prior to his retirement in 1960, he had been employed by the Gisholt Machine Co. of Madison tor 23 years. Mr. Endres was well known for inventions which Included an automatic disc sharpener and a Stoughton plow hitch. During his retirement, he invented and manufactured cow trainers which are distributed through NASCO. He married the former Mildred Meyer of Alberta, Canada on October 26, 1939. He was a member of St. Martin's Catholic Church, Martinsville.
