Marie Madeleine Hemery was born on 27 Feb 1678 in Contrecœur and baptized on 13 Mar in Saint-Pierre parish of Sorel, Canada, Nouvelle-France. Her parents were Antoine Hemery dit Coder and of Marie Desneau. Godparents at the infant's baptism were Nicolas Bonin Martin and Marie Benoist (sic), wife of Pierre Favro dit Deslauriers. The officiating priest was Benoît Duplein.[1]

Marriage
Madeleine Émery, aged 21 on the record, married Mathurin Favreau, aged 22 on the record, son of Pierre Favreau and Marie Madeleine Benoît, on 11 Jan 1700 in Sainte-Famille de Boucherville. The celebrant priest was R. de la Saudrays.[2]

Death and Burial
Madeleine Emmerie, wife of the late Mathurin Favrau, passed away suddenly and was buried on 9 Jun 1760 in Boucherville. The record giving her the age of around 82 years. In the presence of known witnesses Pierre Favrau and Barthelemy Levasseur. The officiating priest was Marchand. Her exact date of death is not mentioned in the burial record.[3]
