Biography

Edward Sydney Elmes was born in 1892, the son of Carolyn (Price) Elmes and Henry George Elmes.^[1]

He married Vera Irene Phillips on 27 November 1917 in Queensland, Australia.^[2] Their son was:

• Leonard George Elmes (1923–2000)^[3]

Edward died on 21 February 1959 in Queensland, aged 66 years.^[4] His remains were buried at Cooktown General Cemetery in Cooktown, Queensland.^[1]
