Born in Harwich, Barnstable, Massachusetts, USA on 19 Jan 1785 to Samuel Ellis and Hannah Nickerson ^[1]. Catherine married Joshua Atwood and had 10 children. She passed away on 29 Feb 1872 in Lower Clyde River, Nova Scotia, Canada.^[2]
