Biography

Mary Jane Ellis was born in 1865. She was the daughter of Margaret Emeline Gann and William Alford Ellis. She married George Richard Purchase in about 1886. They had 4 known children together: George R. Purchase, John M. Purchase, Bertha Florence Purchase, and James William Purchase. In 1909, she married John William Bennett. They had one known child together, Edna Earle Bennett.
