Biography
When James Elliott was born on September 25, 1863, in Mississippi, his father, William, was 31 and his mother, Teresa, was 24.[1] He married Sarah Frances Strawbridge (1865–1948) on February 11, 1886, in Lamar, Alabama.[2] He died on August 2, 1914, in Beaverton, Alabama,[3] at the age of 50, and was buried in Lamar, Alabama.[4]
