Wyche Malone Elder, seventh son of David Elder and Mollie Phillips. (his second wife) was born in Brunswick County, Virginia, October 5, 1804. Married Jane Burt of Clarke County, Ga. (now Oconee) and died in Roanoke, Alabama, Feb. 3, 1871. Mary Jane Burt Elder was born in Georgia, January 11, 1799, died in Roanoke, Ala. Feb. 2, 1884.

Children named in the book are: Joseph, Ann, Frances, Jane, Doctor, John, Thomas, Edmond, and Mary Ermine Elder.

Note: the book says 10 children, but I only count 9.

Joseph W Elder (son on Wyche) had a Family Bible which lists Joseph, his wife Sarah Manning, and all the children of Joseph and Sarah, with full names, DOB, and a few marriage and death dates.
