Biography
Adam Ehrmann is of Swiss descent
Adam Ehrmann was born in 1709.[1] He was the son of Adam Ehrmann and Anna Rueger of Neunkirch, Schaffhausen, Switzerland.
There were two Adam Ehrmann families in Neunkirch. One was married to Margaretha Steininger, the other was married to Margaretha Steinegger. Researchers are still working to straighten out the sibling groups. Here is a screenshot from the Schaffhausen Archives church book of Neunkirch that shows both couples having children baptized a month apart in 1733:
