Biography

Childhood

Mary was born in 1788 in Lanreath, Cornwall. She is the Child of John Edwards and Mary. She was baptised on the 9th of November 1788 at Lanreath Parish Church. ^[1]

Marriage

Mary married Henry Penter (bef.1767-bef.1846) on the 2nd Just 1822 at Lanreath, Cornwall.^[2]

Family

Their first child s first child John Penter (bef.1822-abt.1823) was born in 1822. He was baptised on the 28th August 1822 at Lanreath.^[3] Sadly John only lived for about six months and was buried on the 29th March 1823.^[4]

Their second son Richard Penter (bef.1824-abt.1892) was born in 1824. He was baptised on the 24th October 1824 at Lanreath.^[5] Next followed Mary Penter (bef.1826-bef.1826) in 1826 She was baptised privately on the 28th May (possibly the day she was born) on the 16th July 1826 she was formally baptised or more likely welcomed into the Church at Lanreath.^[6] Sadly, she passed away after only six months. She was buried at Lanreath on the 19th November 1826 ^[7]

Finally Peter (Penter) Painter (bef.1829-bef.1874) was born in 1829. He was baptised on the 29th March 1829 at Lanreath. ^[8]
