Biography

Walton was born about 1820. He passed away about 1862.

Walton married Antoinett Bray on 19 December 1839 in Meriwether, Georgia, United States.^[1]

In 1840, Walton Ecton was head of a family with an adult female in Meriwether County.^[2] Walton would farm real estate worth $8,400 and in 1850, he and Antoinette had two children: Walton Jr (3) and Hugh (1). They appear to also have boarders or extended family living with them.^[3]

Walton Ector served in the 13th Georgia Regiment with promotion to Colonel in July, 1861.^[4] In February 1862 a local paper reported that Col Walton had died at his home after a painful illness. ^[5]
