Biography
William Eccles was born in 1846 in County Antrim, Ireland. He was the son of William Eccles and Ellen (Logen) Eccles.
William came to Australia, aged 5, on the Marco Polo in 1852, with his parents and siblings.[1]
He married Mary Ann Beckinsall on 22 July 1876 in Brunswick, Victoria.[2] Their children were:[citation needed]

William died on 19 August 1893 at Melbourne Hospital in Melbourne, Victoria. He was 47 years old.[3]
