Charlotte was born in 1852 in Hanborough, Oxfordshire.[1] She was the daughter of Richard Eaton and Elizabeth More. She was baptised at St Peter and St Paul, Hanborough on 26th December 1852.[2] Her father stated on the register that he was a labourer.

Robert Fletcher and Charlotte Eaton were married in the Witney Registration district of Oxfordshire in 1872[3].

Death
Charlotte Fletcher died at 530 Church Street, York, Toronto, Ontario, Canada on 6th February 1923[8]. The cause of death was myocarditis and hypostatic pneumonia. The informant was her son Albert. She was buried on 8th February at St Johns. The death record gave her date of birth as 18th July 1853 (it was actually in 1852) and notes that she was a widow.
