Children of Iva Mae Edwards and Edgar Warren Barrick, were Harry Thomas Barrick, and Myrna, Louise Barrick. Iva Mae was the daughter of Charles Thomas Edwards, and Sallie Rukes Edwards.
Children of Charles Thomas Edwards and his second wife, Ida Isabelle Hillis Edwards were: Ruth Pearl Edwards (1899-1967), Clinton Thomas Edwards (1900-1968), James Riley Edwards (1901-1972), Ethel C. Edwards ( Jan.1903-Mar.4, 1910), Oscar Carl Edwards( 1904-1970), and Marie Ida Edwards, (1905-1943)
Children of Thomas J. Edwards and Cerena C. Darnell Edwards were, Mary Elizabeth Edwards, James W. Edwards, Martha J. Edwards, Charles Thomas Edwards (1871-1940), Oliver Frank Edwards, and Richard H. Edwards. Charles Thomas Edwards was my Grandfather.
William, and his two older sons, James R. and Thomas J. were in the 64th Virginia Mounted Infantry, Company "C", and their war records verify this. Thomas J. Edwards (1846-1906) was my Great Grandfather. His wife, Cerena (Sarena), Darnell was third cousin-once removed to Charity, and Jane Darnell Edwards.
Charity Darnell Edwards was the first Cousin of Jane Darnell, who wed Squire Madison Edwards Sr, the older brother of William Edwards. Squire Madison Edwards Sr. and his wife Jane Darnell Edwards, moved to Kentucky, while William and Charity Darnell Edwards settled in Indiana.
Charity Darnell Edwards was born at Stokes County, North Carolina, and died at Fontanet, Vigo, Indiana in 1914. She is buried at Sulphur Springs Cemetery, Rosedale, Vigo, Indiana. William Edwards died 1884, and is buried at Danville East Cemetery , Hendricks County, Indiana.
