Biography
Margretta was born in 1888 in Queensland[1]. She was the daughter of Hubert East.
Leslie Goude COOKE and Margretta (Margaret) Esther EAST were married on 26 Jul 1924, at St. Thomas's Church, Toowong, Queensland[2].

- COOKE-EAST.-On July 26th, at St. Thomas's Church, Toowong, by the Rev. Edward Oerton, assisted by the Rev. J. E. Norman Osborn, M.A., Leslie Goude Cooke, youngest son of the late Mr. and Mrs. W. D. Cooke, Mackay, North Queensland, to Margaret Esther, elder daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hubert. East, Eskmount, Toowong, Brisbane.
She passed away in 1943 in Queensland[4] and was buried at the Mount Thompson Memorial Gardens and Crematorium[5].
