Maxima Archange was married to Xavier aka John Dusseau (Dusault). They were married June 2, 1856. Elizabeth Dusault Garlach was the daughter of Xavier (John) Dusault and Elizabeth Leonard. Elizabeth Leonard was buried March 7, 1852. Maxima Archange was the widow of George Drouillard. While married to George they had a child named Phillip who was born January 1, 1853 and was buried June 23, 1854. Maxima Archange and John Dussault had two children together, John born March 19, 1857 and Benjamin born April 4, 1859. Elizabeth was their half sister. Xavier (John) Dussault's parents were John Francis Dusault and Mary Margaret Montmeny who was the daughter of Louis Montmeny and Margaret Gagnier.

Janvier (or January in English) is apparently the same person as Xavier John Dusseau. In Father Christian Denissen's book, Genealogy of the French Families of the Detroit River Region, the name Xavier is used. Other sources, notably various family trees posted at rootsweb.com, use Janvier as the name, citing Census sources. These same trees do not include an Xavier, but do include other siblings born before and after January 1, 1828. Since both names end in 'vier'; it is plausible that 'Xavier' is a transcription error, especially since the source document was probably handwritten. It appears to have been fairly common to name someone January when they were born on New Year's Day. See for example, January Couture, also born on January 1 (in 1863).
